Basic First Aid Training
Our Basic First Aid Training course teaches participants how to respond confidently and appropriately to common medical emergencies—whether at home, in the workplace, or out in the community. This course is ideal for anyone looking to be better prepared in the event of injury, illness, or sudden health crises.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive an official American Heart Association (AHA) certification eCard, valid for two years, verifying their First Aid training.
Overview
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies such as bleeding, burns, allergic reactions, and broken bones
Control bleeding and bandage wounds properly
Assist individuals suffering from heat exhaustion, hypothermia, or seizures
Respond to poisoning or overdose emergencies
Manage shock and maintain patient safety until help arrives
Apply universal precautions and assess scene safety
