Pediatric CPR AED

Our Pediatric CPR AED Training course is specifically designed to teach lifesaving skills for responding to cardiac and breathing emergencies involving infants and children. Whether you’re a parent, babysitter, teacher, daycare provider, or healthcare worker, this course gives you the knowledge and confidence to act swiftly and effectively in a crisis.

Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will receive an official American Heart Association (AHA) certification eCard, valid for two years, recognizing their training in Pediatric CPR and AED use.

Overview

What you will learn:

  • Identify signs of respiratory distress and cardiac arrest in infants and children

  • Perform CPR for both infants (under 1 year) and children (ages 1–12)

  • Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and correctly on children

  • Clear airway obstructions (choking) using age-appropriate techniques

  • Understand when and how to activate emergency medical services

  • Maintain scene safety and apply basic infection control practices

Why this course matters!

  • Children Require Different CPR Techniques: Pediatric emergencies require different methods than adults. This course ensures you’re using the right skills for smaller bodies and developing systems.

  • Essential for Childcare Providers: Many childcare jobs and licensing requirements mandate pediatric CPR certification.

  • Safety for Families: Knowing how to act quickly could make all the difference in saving a child’s life—whether it’s your own or someone else’s.
